自建私有网盘（如 Nextcloud）选机思路和建站完全不同：建站看 CPU / 线路，网盘看硬盘和流量。这篇讲清要点。
核心：硬盘要大、要便宜
- 网盘是存东西的，硬盘容量是第一指标。普通 NVMe 小鸡才 20–50G，存不了多少。
- 优先看 大硬盘款 / 大盘鸡（几百 G 到几 T 的 HDD 存储型），单价低、容量大。
- 系统盘和数据盘分开更好：小 SSD 跑系统，大 HDD 存数据。
流量：上传下载都算，别选小流量款
- 网盘常传大文件，月流量要大（按 T 算更稳），小流量款（几百 G）很容易跑满停机。
- 看清是「单向」还是「双向双计」——双计的实际可用流量减半。
线路 + 配置
- 线路：自己用 / 国内访问多，选回程好的；纯异地备份可以不挑线路。
- 配置：Nextcloud 这类 2 核 2G 起更顺，1G 也能跑但预览 / 缩略图会慢。
3 个避坑
- 用普通小鸡当网盘：硬盘太小，存两部电影就满，得不偿失。
- 不做备份就当唯一存储：VPS 会挂，重要数据要有第二份。
- 忽略流量双计：传得欢，月底发现流量早爆了。
挑大硬盘款，看库存
大硬盘 / 大流量款相对小众、补货不规律。用 实时库存监控 盯着，遇到合适的及时下手。

The Core: Big Disk, Cheap Price
- Cloud storage is for storing files — disk capacity is the number-one metric. A typical NVMe VPS comes with only 20–50 GB, which won’t hold much.
- Prioritize large-storage VPS plans (storage-oriented machines with hundreds of GB to several TB of HDD space) — lower cost per GB, higher capacity.
- Separating the OS disk from the data disk is ideal: a small SSD for the system, a large HDD for data.
Traffic: Uploads and Downloads Both Count — Avoid Low-Traffic Plans
- Cloud storage involves frequent large file transfers, so monthly traffic should be large (measured in TB for reliability). Low-traffic plans (a few hundred GB) will run out fast and suspend your service.
- Check whether traffic is counted one-way or bidirectionally — bidirectional counting halves your usable allowance.
Network Line + Specs
- Network line: If you’re accessing from China or using it personally, pick a server with a good return route. For pure off-site backup, the network line matters less.
- Specs: Nextcloud and similar apps run more smoothly on 2 cores / 2 GB RAM or more. 1 GB RAM can work but preview generation and thumbnails will be slow.
3 Pitfalls to Avoid
- Using a regular small VPS as cloud storage: The disk is too small — two movies fill it up. Not worth it.
- Using it as your only copy without backups: VPS servers can fail. Keep a second copy of important data.
- Ignoring bidirectional traffic counting: You upload happily all month, then discover your traffic quota was blown early.
Find Large-Storage Plans — Watch the Stock
Large-disk / high-traffic plans are relatively niche and restock irregularly. Use the real-time stock monitor to keep an eye out and grab one when a good deal appears.
